The Big Bear Valley COAD will activate during major disasters such as fires and earthquakes. The group works throughout the year to plan strategies to facilitate effective and efficient communications, donations management, and volunteer utilization. This COAD, is one of several regional COADs within San Bernardino County, and is an active participant with San Bernardino County VOAD. It's mission reflects the purpose of that organization.
